7. IMPHAL TO Loktak Lake "The World Only Floating National Park"
The National Park Covering an area of around 40 square kilometers, Keibul Lamjao is entitled as the “World’s Only Floating National Park”. This floating National Park has its own unique ecosystem, where Indian Python, Barking Deer rare species are found, the main specialty is Sagai Deer. Sagai Deer is a species that only found in this National Park. With the support of villagers and the initiative of the forest department, it has become the perfect home for Sagai Deer at Keibul Lamjao, Nearly 24,000 tourists visit Loktak Lake each year.
