About Camp Tani Adventure
Arunachal Pradesh is celebrated for its stunning landscapes, picturesque valleys, and misty mountains, and the views from Camp Tani Adventure certainly live up to this reputation. Situated in Bodak, Pasighat, just 14 kilometers from Pasighat town, this campsite is easily accessible by road and offers an idyllic retreat into nature.
A Personal Journey
Having visited Camp Tani Adventure three times—on my birthday, New Year’s, and a recent trip with a friend—I can confidently say that each visit has been a unique and delightful experience. This beautiful campsite offers a perfect escape from the hustle and bustle of daily life, allowing you to unwind and reconnect with nature for a day or two.
The Campsite Experience
As you enter Camp Tani Adventure, you are greeted by towering trees and a tantalizing glimpse of the Siang River. The campsite is spacious, featuring several tents, two bonfire places, and a viewpoint where you can endlessly watch the Siang River flow by. The viewpoint also boasts a comfortable sitting area, ideal for lounging and soaking up the natural surroundings while listening to the soothing sounds of the river.
For those who crave an intimate experience with nature, the campsite offers tents built on stilts right next to the river. These tents are my personal favorite, as I love falling asleep to the gentle murmur of the river and waking up to breathtaking views of the river and mountains from my tent.
Camping enthusiasts who prefer pitching their own tents are welcome to set up anywhere on the campground, adding a personal touch to their camping adventure.
Safety and Concerns
Camp Tani Adventure is a safe haven for both men and women campers. The campsite is secluded, built on an elevated area, and designed to offer privacy. Despite the number of tents, each one is spaced out to ensure a sense of intimacy and security.
The food at Camp Tani Adventure is a highlight, prepared with love and care by the staff or the host himself. The meals cater to all campers' needs and are served in locally sourced "Tora paat" leaves to minimize plastic use.
In addition to the stunning views and calming sounds of the Siang River, the campsite offers opportunities for picnics both on the campground and at the riverbank. Two bonfire places provide the perfect setting to catch up with friends, family, or significant others over a cozy fire and barbecue.
